Ashton Kutcher Discusses Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Parties in Resurfaced Interview

Ashton Kutcher and Sean “Diddy” Combs’ longstanding friendship is back in the spotlight, thanks to a resurfaced interview clip from 2019. During an appearance on Hot Ones, the That ’70s Show star was asked to share stories from Diddy’s famously wild parties, and his response has reignited curiosity.

Kutcher, now 46, chuckled at the question, initially hesitating. “I’ve got a lot I can’t tell,” he told host Sean Evans, hinting at the wild nature of Diddy’s parties. He continued to sift through memories, jokingly pausing to say, “Can’t tell that one either. … I’m actually cycling through them. Diddy party stories, man, that was some weird memory lane thing.”

While he left some stories untold, Kutcher did share a few details about how their friendship began. The connection between the actor and Diddy, now 54, started unexpectedly when the rapper became intrigued by Kutcher’s MTV show Punk’d.

“Our relationship is really bizarre,” Kutcher said. “It started over Punk’d because he was like, ‘Yo, you can’t punk me!’ I was like, ‘I don’t know what to tell you, everybody’s on the table.’ That started our conversation. We became fast friends and we used to just hang out, watch football together.”

Punk’d, which premiered in 2003, was a reality show in which Kutcher orchestrated elaborate pranks on high-profile celebrities. The show became a cultural phenomenon before concluding in 2007. Kutcher reminisced about spending time with Diddy off-screen, sharing a funny anecdote about the rapper joining him for a run one day.

“Halfway through the run, he goes, ‘Yo, I’m running out of gas right now,’” Kutcher recalled. “But we had paparazzi all around us at the time. He’s like, ‘You gotta slow down but make it look like you’re not slowing down because I don’t want to look like I’m not going to be able to finish this thing.’ He was losing it.”

Kutcher laughed as he described how Diddy, known for his competitive spirit, refused to be outdone, even during a casual jog. “After we finished, he was so upset over the fact that he got skunked on this run,” Kutcher added. In typical Diddy fashion, he turned that frustration into motivation and soon began training for the New York Marathon. “He just can’t lose,” Kutcher said. “Even when he’s that close to humility, it becomes a driver and then he ran the New York Marathon.”

While the nature of Kutcher and Diddy’s current relationship remains unclear, the rapper is now facing serious legal challenges. Recently, Diddy was indicted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, accusations that have stunned the music world. The 14-page indictment describes a pattern of abuse, coercion, and exploitation, allegedly orchestrated by Diddy to satisfy “his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.”

Among the claims are disturbing allegations that Diddy organized events known as “Freak Offs,” described in court documents as “elaborate and produced sex performances.” Diddy has vehemently denied the charges, pleading not guilty. However, a New York judge denied his request for bail on September 17.

In response to the accusations, Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, offered a strong defense: “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

As of now, Ashton Kutcher has not publicly commented on Diddy’s legal troubles.
