Cardi B didn’t shy away from expressing her frustration after Offset accused her of being unfaithful during her pregnancy.
On Wednesday, September 25, the pair, who have had a tumultuous relationship, engaged in a public argument via Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).
In a heated Instagram Live session, Cardi B, 31, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, directed her comments towards Offset, 32, whose full name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus. Offset accused Cardi of cheating on him while she was pregnant with their child. He reportedly wrote, “U f–ked with a baby inside, tell the truth!!” according to sources like Hollywood Unlocked and E!.
Following his accusation, Cardi responded on X with a controversial post, stating “AND DID !!!!!” This sparked widespread speculation among fans, with many wondering if she had indeed confirmed Offset’s allegation. Adding to the tension, the “WAP” rapper tweeted, “A hurt Nikka will do the unthinkable.”
During her Instagram Live, Cardi B reflected on their relationship, admitting she was thankful for the children they share but expressed regret over her connection with Offset.
“But f— you, I regret you,” Cardi remarked, continuing, “I’m too good for you. I’ve always been too good for you.”
The situation escalated further when Cardi B confronted Offset’s alleged threats. “Since you wanna f—ing threaten me, talking about you wanna take my s—, you wanna take my s— because I’m moving on? Move on. Move on. Why can’t you move on?” she fired back.
The Grammy-winning artist also suggested that their legal battles could become more intense. “It’s no fun when Mama’s got the gun, right?” she said, insinuating that their court struggles were far from over. “Now we’re going to court war, right?”
Cardi B and Offset share three children: their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, their son, Wave Set Cephus, and a baby girl born in September 2024. The couple’s relationship has been marked by numerous ups and downs over the years.
The two first ignited dating rumors in February 2017 when they were spotted attending Super Bowl LI together. By October of that same year, Offset proposed to Cardi B at the Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia. However, it was later revealed that the couple had already gotten married in secret on September 20, 2017, before the public proposal took place.
Their rocky relationship saw Cardi B filing for divorce twice—first in September 2020 and later in July 2024. Not long after the second filing, Cardi announced on Instagram that she was pregnant with their third child, who was born a month later.
