Chrisean Rock has been officially released from jail after spending nearly three months behind bars.
Recent reports had indicated that Chrisean would soon be granted release on bond, and on Friday night, the rapper and social media influencer confirmed her return home. She shared an emotional video featuring her reunion with her son, celebrating her homecoming, which happened just days after her son’s first birthday.
“To be with you today, set free just a few days after your birthday, is a blessing. Happy 1 year old, September 3. Chrisean Jesus Porter, I love you,” she wrote in part of her heartfelt message.
Chrisean had been incarcerated since June 10 due to charges from 2022 in Oklahoma, including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Ironically, she was arrested while attending a court hearing in San Fernando Valley to support Blueface, who was recently sentenced to four years in prison for probation violation related to a 2021 incident involving an assault on a security guard.
Following her release, the 24-year-old mother briefly went live on Instagram to express gratitude to her fans and emphasized that she is now focused on herself and her son. However, despite this joyful moment, Chrisean’s legal troubles are far from over. She still faces up to eight years in prison for her Oklahoma charges, which could potentially leave her young son without both parents for an extended period. Furthermore, she was recently sentenced to 30 days in jail and probation for assaulting singer James Wright during a Tamar Braxton concert in November.
